The register of relief offerings according to a law in 1840 is a record pertaining to the acceptance of notes by the Branch Bank after the passage of the law. Included are the acceptance or application number, the name of the drawer or payer of the note, the name of the security or endorser, the date of the note, the date of maturity of the note, the term of the note, the county, the amount of the note, and remarks pertaining to payment. Also included may be the amount of interest earned to maturity, the name of the third and fourth payer, and a record of collections made by the Branch Bank attorney.
